A group of twelve friends who like to ski joined together to form the Upper Bucks Ski club in October 1974. In two years, the membership had expanded to 105 members. Today, the club is comprised of singles and families. Upper Bucks Ski club was one of the first ski clubs in the area to start an annual auction to raise money for its club. It is still an annual event where members and guests can be the top bidder on many ski related items, as well as items donated by merchants local to the Quakertown area.
UBSC is proud to be associated with the Amateur Ski Instructor Association (ASIA). Our ASIA instructors are usually available during DOTS nights or on club trips to provide lessons to our members free of charge. Learn more about ASIA and what they have to offer by visiting their website.
